We had the privilege of working with Willie and staff at Energy Products and Design for a fireplace when finishing our basement.  The entire staff has been very helpful, informative, friendly, and patient during the process.  In addition, they were very adaptable and adjusted well when the power went out for two hours while they were trying to frame for the fireplace.

There are several samples to view in the showroom and we received a number of detailed price quotes for all the different options we were entertaining.  Any questions we had were answered promptly.

The company web site was very helpful, as well as being able to communicate with the staff via e-mail.  We would fully recommend Energy Products for your fireplace.

I love my Jotul and I am not even Norwegian!

After two years of searching and researching for a gas fireplace insert into my existing wood-burning fireplace, Energy Products and Design offered good old-fashioned service, professionalism, and honesty.  They were comitted to making me satisfied in every aspect of the purchase of my Jotul.  I love my Jotul and I am not even Norwegian!

I really do feel that all my wants and worries were satisfied especially the offer to come back out one day to help me clean the glass the first time it needs it. This was huge for me.

My son Dave really wants a fireplace now; however, he does not have an existing fireplace. He loved the Jotul also. Maybe next year I will surprise him with a Kozy or whatever you recommend for his situation.  Thanks again for terrific service and I have talked you up to many people.

It’s been a real pleasure working with you and Energy Products on the purchase and installation of our new wood burning fireplace.  The fireplace went in with virtually no problems.   Any concerns or questions were handled in a quick and professional manner, not that there were many of those.   I can tell you the reason Energy Products got our business, is because you took the time and a genuine interest in what we wanted to accomplish, in our fireplace project. When comparing price and product, all the fireplace businesses in the area were very competitive, but you took that bigger step, we were NOT just another bid. We can’t wait to start our first fire in the new fireplace.

I wanted to write a short letter to express how pleased Peg and I are with the installation of our new gas fireplace from Energy Products & Design. From the initial planning meeting to the reinstallation of the carpeting everything went smoothly and on schedule.

There were several things that I was especially pleased about:

  1. All of the work was completed in two days. This included the removal of the old fireplace unit, the installation of the new chimney pipe, installation of the new fireplace unit, all of the masonry work, and restoring the carpeting back to its original state. Our house was in disarray for only a very short period of time.
  2. I was concerned about the look and feel of the chimney caps since we have two chimney pipes enclosed in our chase. This brick chase is a very dominate feature of the front of our house. You went out of your way to find chimney caps that look perfect for our chase.
  3. The quality of work performed by your mason was excellent. Wally Bertschinger built us a beautiful brick surround for our new fireplace unit.

We are very pleased with our new fireplace and you are welcome to use us as a referral anytime.

  3. install a new Kozy Heat-Minnetonka gas fireplace
  4. Install stonework to update the look.

When we put in our fireplace the experience was positive.  Willie and all the people that worked with us at Energy Products were a big part of that satisfaction. They showed us respect and patience, while narrowing down the final design.  They all collaborated to create the fireplace we dreamed of.  Energy Products mapped out a time line and if schedule changes arose we were notified immediately.  We sure enjoy the final product.
