I wanted to write a short letter to express how pleased Peg and I are with the installation of our new gas fireplace from Energy Products & Design. From the initial planning meeting to the reinstallation of the carpeting everything went smoothly and on schedule.

There were several things that I was especially pleased about:

All of the work was completed in two days. This included the removal of the old fireplace unit, the installation of the new chimney pipe, installation of the new fireplace unit, all of the masonry work, and restoring the carpeting back to its original state. Our house was in disarray for only a very short period of time.
I was concerned about the look and feel of the chimney caps since we have two chimney pipes enclosed in our chase. This brick chase is a very dominate feature of the front of our house. You went out of your way to find chimney caps that look perfect for our chase.
The quality of work performed by your mason was excellent. Wally Bertschinger built us a beautiful brick surround for our new fireplace unit.
